About Larry T. McRae
Bassist, Writer, Producer, Arranger and Author. Born in Philly, Larry began his musical career at the age 14 playing with gospel great James Cleveland. At age 17 moved to NYC to play with Norman Connors. This was the start. Since that time he has played or toured with too many to name but a few are Roberta Flack, Marvin Hamlisch, Ornette Coleman, Noel Pointer, Will Downing, Angie Bofill, Phyllis Hyman and many more.
